Exhibitions in 2005

Bradley’s two solo exhibitions of work held in November 2005 showcased his most recent work. Based largely on the Burlesque dancers of New York and Europe both shows also included Bradley's signature pieces of long club scenes and model studies.
Dublin 17th November 2005
Terry Bradley introduced his latest collection of paintings The Burlesque Series at a VIP reception on Wednesday, 16th November 2005 in Renards Nightclub

Said Terry, “For me the burlesque dancer inhabits a mysterious, twilight world. She represents an erotic and sensual creature with a dark edge. The whole theatre of the performance is perfect for me to observe as an artist and I found the audience just as interesting as the performers on stage.”

Amongst those who attended on the night were:  Terry’s close friends Ronan & Yvonne Keating, Michael & Kim Wright (who bought 4 paintings, 3 of which he bought over the phone without even seeing as he is a big fan of Terry’s work), Paul Harrington and his brother Joe (Paul who was on crutches had made his first appearance since returning home from touring with Michael Flately having injured his Achilles Heal), Karla Elliott and her daughter Emily, Andrea Roche, Tara O’Connor, Eoin Dennis, Clodagh Kean and Tara Logan, Alan Amsby, Joe Supple, opera star Paul Byrom, Dick Massey, Gail Kaneswaran, Johnny Cooke, sisters Nadine and Sarah-Jane Wai O’Flynn, Mary Moore and Mark Wright, Sonia & Virginia Macari, Gavin Lambe Murphy, Spin1038 boss Liam Thompson, Laura Haughey, Nick Gallagher and more.

The majority of the 30 paintings were sold with many requesting specific commissions of those they were pipped at the post for!
