We believe that art has the power to express emotions and tell stories that words sometimes cannot capture. Recently, we had the privilege of hearing Stephen Seawright’s heart-warming story about surprising his bride-to-be, Lesley, with “The Kiss”.
Stephen and Lesley first met over 25 years ago during their clubbing days. They quickly became good friends, but as life often unfolds, they lost touch and went their separate ways, each starting their own families. However, destiny had a delightful surprise in store. Seven years ago, during a Christmas do, Stephen unexpectedly bumped into Lesley, reigniting the connection they once shared. He proposed at the Guinness Factory glass roof bar, and now they proudly have a blended family that includes four adult children and a lively cat and dog.
To commemorate their special day on 3rd August 2024, Stephen chose to surprise Lesley with “The Kiss”. He beautifully explained his choice, saying, “I chose the Kiss because of the intimacy it represents between two people. The real connection is in the hand of comfort on the face. Lesley brings that comfort to me when I need that hug or kiss. So, it was very apt for how we are with each other, and on our special day I wanted to express this to Lesley - the image of the Kiss helped me get that across.”
As they embark on this new chapter together, we’re honoured that our art plays a role in their love story. It serves as a reminder that sometimes, love finds its way back to us in the most unexpected ways.
