One Road took place on 10th May 2026, it was a huge success to unite so many people around a shared interest in motorcycles. The day was filled with excitement and loud engines, however everyone knew that this event was really about talking to one another, a belief that talking about mental health matters.
Terry has been open with his struggles over the years when it comes to mental health, this is a message that is often expressed throughout his work. Terry wanted to bring this message to a physical location in Belfast and when asked about the event he said "I'm bowled over by the response, this is fantastic."
The Day
Bolt Deli provided a great location for the event, Bolt is closed on Sundays, but Keith kindly made an exception for One Road to allow us access to the carpark at the front of the restaurant and to open the Bolt Deli kitchen for attendees. The bikes began filling up the car park from 9am, long before the publicly shared start time. As different motorcycle clubs arrived, people began to talk about eachothers bikes, walking around the car park seeing what everyone had brought with them. Terry was among the crowd and had brought a custom bandana with his logo and the words 'One Road 2026'. Rather than selling these bandanas, they were handed out and people were given the chance to donate whatever they wanted, this system worked well as people were very happy with the bandanas, it is something we will definitely have to bring back in the future.

When the final tally came in, the total from the raffle, the food sales at Bolt Deli, and the donations was £3,722.50. Every penny went to Aware NI to support their vital work across Northern Ireland. One Road could not have happened without the generosity of so many people. A huge thank you to Bolt Deli for providing food, drink and the location. To Triumph motorcycles and Harley Davidson Belfast for their support and prizes. To Leah McCourt for donating from her Izzy Rose Skin range. To Aware NI for providing support and services during the event and in the lead up to the event. And most of all, to every single biker who rode in, got involved and was a part of this great event.
