Story Behind the Painting
‘Contender’ captures the spirit of Belfast’s enduring resilience. Painted for the 2025 COST exhibition, the piece reflects the city’s legacy of hard-working men who carried both physical and emotional battles on their shoulders. Bradley’s subject, marked by a plaster across his nose and those striking, piercing grey eyes, embodies a quiet strength shaped by struggle. His expression hints at the grind of daily labour but also the invisible weight of mental health challenges that so often go unspoken. Through muted tones and rugged texture, Bradley honours the men of Belfast who continue to stand firm, even when life leaves its marks.

Description
Our prints are high-quality giclée prints produced on either heavyweight museum-quality rough watercolour paper or artists’ canvas. Every print is signed by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity, also signed by him.

Framing options can be selected online, and once your artwork is prepared for collection at our gallery, you will be notified by phone in accordance with your preference.
Hand Embellishment
Hand-embellished orders are taken by the artist back to his studio where he personalises each one using either paint, pencil, or pen. He adds colour or detail that is unique to your piece making them an original, one-off piece. These pieces are numbered 1/1 and come with a certificate of authenticity.
Shipping & Collections
In-store Collection is available for all orders. Select 'Pick-Up' at checkout and choose your local gallery. Framed prints are available for collection in 2 - 3 weeks.
Local Van Delivery Service is available on the island of Ireland. Please choose "Ship" at checkout and then "Local Delivery". Once your order has been processed, we’ll be in touch to arrange a delivery date that suits you.
Worldwide Shipping is available for rolled artwork. Rolled prints are shipped via First Class recorded delivery in secure postal tubes and require a signature upon receipt. You will receive a text/email confirming your order has been fulfilled and posted. These notifications include tracking information (some countries excluded).
