Story Behind the Painting
‘The Kiss’ is used to show a powerful dynamic within a relationship. Relationships are very often at the core of our experiences of life, and we are moulded by how these relationships affect us.
In this painting, the woman has her hand on the man’s face, depicting understanding, support, and love. It shows that behind this man is a woman who believes in him and strengthens him. If he had his hand on her face, it could be interpreted as controlling or violent and could create a different balance of power.
The strength lies in her love. Both have their eyes closed, making their kiss a private moment, unaware of the world around them. His face, slightly in the foreground, evens out the dynamic so that her hand does not become domineering but a gentle, loving support.

Description
Our prints are high-quality giclée prints produced on either heavyweight museum-quality rough watercolour paper or artists’ canvas. Every print is signed by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity, also signed by him.

Framing options can be selected online, and once your artwork is prepared for collection at our gallery, you will be notified by phone in accordance with your preference.
Hand Embellishment
Hand-embellished orders are taken by the artist back to his studio where he personalises each one using either paint, pencil, or pen. He adds colour or detail that is unique to your piece making them an original, one-off piece. These pieces are numbered 1/1 and come with a certificate of authenticity.
Shipping & Collections
In-store Collection is available for all orders. Select 'Pick-Up' at checkout and choose your local gallery. Framed prints are available for collection in 2 - 3 weeks.
Local Van Delivery Service is available on the island of Ireland. Please choose "Ship" at checkout and then "Local Delivery". Once your order has been processed, we’ll be in touch to arrange a delivery date that suits you.
Worldwide Shipping is available for rolled artwork. Rolled prints are shipped via First Class recorded delivery in secure postal tubes and require a signature upon receipt. You will receive a text/email confirming your order has been fulfilled and posted. These notifications include tracking information (some countries excluded).
