Story Behind the Painting
Created in Málaga, this striking Terry Bradley painting entitled ‘Captain’ depicts a man in charge of himself and his life. The painting captures the essence of resilience and structure through bold colour and angular lines. ‘Captain’ is in control of his past, present, and future, and the geometrical lines and boxes reflect the many different aspects of his personality and the hurdles he overcomes every day.
The fragmented image, with slashes of red, yellow, and blue, mirrors the complexity of life itself. The intense, focused eye beneath his hat evokes the spirit of Belfast’s dockers - men who shaped the city's industrial backbone through tireless labour.
Every stroke and contrast in this piece speaks of strength forged under pressure. The sharp divisions and overlapping colours reflect not chaos, but a hard-won order - a life built through determination and purpose.

Description
Our prints are high-quality giclée prints produced on either heavyweight museum-quality rough watercolour paper or artists’ canvas. Every print is signed by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity, also signed by him.

Framing options can be selected online, and once your artwork is prepared for collection at our gallery, you will be notified by phone in accordance with your preference.
Hand Embellishment
Hand-embellished orders are taken by the artist back to his studio where he personalises each one using either paint, pencil, or pen. He adds colour or detail that is unique to your piece making them an original, one-off piece. These pieces are numbered 1/1 and come with a certificate of authenticity.
Shipping & Collections
In-store Collection is available for all orders. Select 'Pick-Up' at checkout and choose your local gallery. Framed prints are available for collection in 2 - 3 weeks.
Local Van Delivery Service is available on the island of Ireland. Please choose "Ship" at checkout and then "Local Delivery". Once your order has been processed, we’ll be in touch to arrange a delivery date that suits you.
Worldwide Shipping is available for rolled artwork. Rolled prints are shipped via First Class recorded delivery in secure postal tubes and require a signature upon receipt. You will receive a text/email confirming your order has been fulfilled and posted. These notifications include tracking information (some countries excluded).
