Story Behind the Painting
Terry Bradley's 'Insomnia' is a deeply personal work that reflects his long struggle with restless nights and fractured sleep. The central face, heavy with exhaustion yet unyielding, becomes a vessel for his lived experience of wakeful hours spent in thought and creation.
Surrounding the figure, a mosaic of geometric shapes and fractured patterns suggests the attempt to impose structure on a mind caught in endless motion, an effort to bring order to chaos. Within this vivid framework, contrasting birds take flight: the pure white doves symbolising hope, renewal, and the promise of morning light, while the darker birds embody the heavier thoughts and challenges that creep in during the late hours, often lingering until dawn. This interplay of forms and symbols captures both the fragility and resilience of the human spirit, showing how, even in sleepless nights, creativity and meaning can take shape.

Description
Our prints are high-quality giclée prints produced on either heavyweight museum-quality rough watercolour paper or artists’ canvas. Every print is signed by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity, also signed by him.

Framing options can be selected online, and once your artwork is prepared for collection at our gallery, you will be notified by phone in accordance with your preference.
Hand Embellishment
Hand-embellished orders are taken by the artist back to his studio where he personalises each one using either paint, pencil, or pen. He adds colour or detail that is unique to your piece making them an original, one-off piece. These pieces are numbered 1/1 and come with a certificate of authenticity.
Shipping & Collections
In-store Collection is available for all orders. Select 'Pick-Up' at checkout and choose your local gallery. Framed prints are available for collection in 2 - 3 weeks.
Local Van Delivery Service is available on the island of Ireland. Please choose "Ship" at checkout and then "Local Delivery". Once your order has been processed, we’ll be in touch to arrange a delivery date that suits you.
Worldwide Shipping is available for rolled artwork. Rolled prints are shipped via First Class recorded delivery in secure postal tubes and require a signature upon receipt. You will receive a text/email confirming your order has been fulfilled and posted. These notifications include tracking information (some countries excluded).
