Story Behind the Painting
'Two Pints' is one of Terry Bradley's most recognisable works, capturing the quiet dignity of Belfast's shipyard workers at the end of a long shift. The painting depicts a docker from Harland & Wolff — the legendary shipyard that built the Titanic — dressed in the heavy coat, collarless shirt, and woollen waistcoat typical of the city's working men. He holds two pints of stout, a familiar ritual for dockers pouring into the bars of East Belfast after a hard day on the docks.
Bradley's portrayal goes beyond nostalgia. It's a tribute to the working-class identity that built modern Belfast — men whose labour and grit are woven into the city's industrial history. The muted, weathered colour palette and bold linework reflect Bradley's signature style, rooted in the people and streets of his own upbringing near Belfast's Shankill Road.
Two Pints remains a favourite among collectors of Bradley's "Dockers" series, prized for its raw honesty and connection to Belfast's shipbuilding legacy.

Our prints are high-quality giclée prints produced on either heavyweight museum-quality rough watercolour paper or artists’ canvas. Every print is signed by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity, also signed by him.

Framing options can be selected online, and once your artwork is prepared for collection at our gallery, you will be notified by phone in accordance with your preference.
Hand Embellishment
Hand-embellished orders are taken by the artist back to his studio where he personalises each one using either paint, pencil, or pen. He adds colour or detail that is unique to your piece making them an original, one-off piece. These pieces are numbered 1/1 and come with a certificate of authenticity.
Shipping & Collections
In-store Collection is available for all orders. Select 'Pick-Up' at checkout and choose your local gallery. Framed prints are available for collection in 2 - 3 weeks.
Local Van Delivery Service is available on the island of Ireland. Please choose "Ship" at checkout and then "Local Delivery". Once your order has been processed, we’ll be in touch to arrange a delivery date that suits you.
Worldwide Shipping is available for rolled artwork. Rolled prints are shipped via First Class recorded delivery in secure postal tubes and require a signature upon receipt. You will receive a text/email confirming your order has been fulfilled and posted. These notifications include tracking information (some countries excluded).
