Story Behind the Painting

The title painting embodies the central idea of the exhibition: the price of endurance. It captures the quiet strength it takes to survive life’s pressures, showing the marks left behind by struggle. ‘COST’ is not about defeat but acceptance - that to keep going, we all pay something in energy, hope, time or peace of mind. It’s both personal and universal, asking the viewer to reflect on what life has taken from them and what it has given in return.

Open Edition

A selected number of our prints are produced as open editions. These prints have been singled out by Terry as having special significance to him and wants them to be available to everyone.

Hand-Embellishment

Once printed, hand-embellished orders are taken by the artist back to his studio where he personalises each one using either paint, pencil, or pen. He adds colour or detail that is unique to your piece making them an original, one-off piece. These pieces are numbered 1/1 and come with a certificate of authenticity.
