Story Behind The Painting

Terry painted ‘Safe Place’ in 2017 and created it to reflect the need we all have for a safe place which we can return to and feel most at home. Painted directly on to hard board the natural colour palette simplifies the message and emotion of the piece. Using the warm tones of the wood along with just black and white paint Terry creates a soft and comforting atmosphere which invites us to feel relaxed. The calm expression and closed eyes invite us to join her in her moment of restfulness. A truly beautiful painting that shows how vulnerable we can be when we feel truly safe.

Description

Our canvas prints are high-quality giclee prints produced on artists' canvas and are signed by the artist himself. Each canvas is given a unique number from the limited edition produced from the original. Every canvas print comes with a certificate of authenticity, also signed by the artist.

Hand-Embellishment

Once printed, hand-embellished orders are taken by the artist back to his studio where he personalises each one using either paint, pencil, or pen. He adds colour or detail that is unique to your piece making them an original, one-off piece. These pieces are numbered 1/1 and also come with a certificate of authenticity.
